If you don't need a suit or anything, look elsewhere.

Years ago I had this fitted hat and it was everything I wanted in a hat. But unfortunately it was stolen by unscrupulous former roommates and so after 3 years without it I finally decided to try to replace it. I knew it would be difficult to find another quality hat and I was not mistaken. As others have said, the fabric is very thin and light, not stiff at all, and due to a seam I have a feeling this hat will not last long. very long. There is no band around the edges to hold the shape so it folds over your head when you pull it over your head. To fix this I used some decorative pins to hold the supplied piece of cardboard to support the front of it. Some say it looks like a train conductor's cap, and that's because it's too big and the tuck-in points for the brim are awkwardly placed, causing creases in the corners when the back is tightened. I can't recommend this hat but I paid for it so I'll wear it until it falls apart. It's not bad, but if you don't need a suit or something, look elsewhere.
