Looks great in the picture but after a week there is almost no depreciation for the homeless and almost like sitting on a board. The armrests are the same. The material is very soft if you don't want to cling to a leather chair in the summer, but you definitely need a butt pad if you have to sit on the thing for a while (if you work on the computer at home all day, for example). It wasn't very expensive so I'm not paying to buy it, but you might want to do a little research before you buy this one. Unfortunately, I purposely didn't want a leather chair, and it really was probably the best option. Oh, and it looks like it doesn't recline enough. It's like it stops just short of where you'd be comfortable and doesn't want to bounce back if you move your butt a little. It's enough for now, but I'll be back hunting soon.
