While my venerable Windows XP tower continues to service some legacy software, I needed a modern PC for everyday browsing, email, and video conferencing with friends and family. My plan was to add a device to my home workstation that uses a monitor for the old and new computers. The HP Elite is labeled "thin," but the small standard better describes the size, as it's nearly twice the size of the mini desktops I use at work. The 1TB hard drive and optical drive were strong selling points. After a bit of hassle with my 20 year old Microsoft ID, setup was easy. Daily work is fast. So far, several older programs have installed without problems. Excellent quality and customer service from Blair Technology. Highly recommended.
