Bought from Revain for less than $50. After reading so many negative reviews that it died a few days later I was concerned that I decided to buy a three year warranty. First of all, this mini fridge is still an electric cooler. It doesn't have the same cooling capabilities as a regular full-size kitchen fridge. It is advertised with temperatures above 30 degrees and so far it has been done! Just note that, as the manufacturer clearly states, the cooling capacity is affected by the ambient temperature in the room. Mine is in my nice, cool, air-conditioned home office, not out on the patio. While it's best to put pre-chilled food in the fridge, I regularly swap out the ice-cold soda or water in the mini-fridge for room-temperature food with minimal temperature fluctuations. Out of the box it met my expectations!. I can safely store my insulin pen, Sargento boiled eggs and cheese snacks, and ice-cold soda cans. The built in internal temperature gauge shown on the outside proved accurate compared to the fridge/freezer thermometer I placed inside. Look at the photos and note that the internal temperature is in the 40C range and below the food safe range! Note. Since there have been so many complaints about this unit dying or not working properly, I bought an additional three-year warranty for about five dollars as a precaution. I've only had this for a few weeks, I'll update this review if necessary.
