Agree with many reviews, simple and easy to use. Sturdy construction and quite heavy if you drop it I think the plastic will break. As a housewife who cooks and bakes every day and a student, I use it in the kitchen and living room every day. Areas for improvement and why I'll be looking for another timer: It's only been down for 1 minute. At least 2 minutes must pass before the timer starts to work. Can't stop beep beep beep when time's up. I've only set the alarm three times, on the lowest volume so it's not intrusive, but sometimes I prefer the old style alarm where you can physically press the button and silence the alarm instantly. Very small note: This is the kind of blue that is more appropriate for a child's room than an adult's room. So if aesthetics are a concern, this timer isn't for you.
