Charming but too fragile

I bought this book set from Fisher Price along with another set of 4 books. When they arrived I assumed this set would be more durable: the cardboard sides are much thicker. But after a month this set fell apart. Not only did the pages separate from the binding, my grandchildren (aged 12-18 months) started tearing off scraps of paper (and, of course, putting them in their mouths). Bright and cute but too fragile. Purchase another Fisher-Price kit instead. Babies love the carrying handle and have carried themselves very well despite the relatively thin sides.
