I was looking for a HEPA filtered air purifier in preparation for allergy season in dry California. Brand. I already have a Cuckoo brand air purifier from the COVID days at work, albeit a much larger one. All my colleagues including myself love what we have in the office so I knew I wanted a Cuckoo and I'm glad I got this model. It has one of the largest floor coverings in terms of price and size! The design is slim and it's nice to have a top handle - easy to take out of the box and carry from the kitchen to the bedroom. I took this little one into the kitchen when we were spicy frying and it worked hard, automatically switching to high speed mode and the spicy smell quickly disappeared. In the bedroom I put it on quiet night mode all night (my allergies get strong at night) and I slept so peacefully without waking up rubbing my eyes and nose. It has a timer function, but I leave it on in automatic mode all day. I don't regret buying earlier. I'm getting another one to give to a friend who is having a baby. Not many of my friends use or know of an air purifier, but I know they would appreciate having one.
