Review on 📦 Retractable Adjustable Scotch Packaging Solution 3850 ST by Boss Spangler

This dispenser is very poorly constructed. It is impossible to easily cut the strap when bending the mechanism. I even modified the blade by making slots in it so it will expand much further when the clear plastic wall is squeezed. The edges of the red metal corners stick out too far. I believe this was all done for security reasons, but it reduces the efficiency of cutting the tape. I believe a design change that would allow the blade to extend further when using the mechanism would be both safe and effective. But 3M probably decided against it, or cheapened the design by outsourcing it to China, where they cut corners on the original design. Overall: HARD PASS, almost useless!
