For a long time I was looking for a training watch with a 5-minute increment and a long and short hand that goes directly to the numbers. Something like an old-school Flik Flak watch (the brand's children's watches don't show the numbers like that anymore). My 3 year old is obsessed with numbers and time. Within 5 minutes of turning this on and giving it a brief explanation of how the hands work, he was telling them correctly the rest of the night! He liked it so much that he asked to sleep with him. However, not all styles of this brand are due with 5 minute markings etc as described above. But I'm glad I found this one! There aren't any actual instructions in the box that teach you how to teach your child how to use it, but it's pretty clear. Teach your kids how to use an analog clock! It's amazing how many people can't tell the time this way since the digit is so commonly used!
