I bought this adapter for work. I use VGA and Ethernet ports. All ports work fine for my purposes. Build quality is pretty solid. I expected the plastic case to have some creases, but there aren't any. The cable is flexible enough not to break. It also feels like a premium cable. The Ethernet port has blinking lights to let you know if it's running in 10, 100, or 1000 mode. I left it on for over 48 hours and it barely warmed up. It was an easy install and no additional software was required to use it on my Lenovo P53s. In general, this is a quality device. I definitely recommend this if you need specific ports. I haven't had any issues in the 2 weeks I've had this product and it has connected the entire time
