I purchased the model DST-814R because I liked the combination of materials for the stem and the collar. I have never been a spinner and my first attempt was shy of 3 minutes. The design of the top has very low clearance at the edge of the collar. But the balance and quality is very good. Correcting my spin technique took about a week to get consistent. I routinely spin in the 8-10 minute range and getting more in the 10+ minute range now. My longest spin duration has been 11:33 so far.
