Make sure you know why you are using this camera and that it might be useful to you

I bought this primarily because I was very interested in such a small interchangeable lens system. I was also very pleased with the continuous shooting speed. One of the things you will read in some reviews of this camera is that the 1 inch sensor makes it terrible. I was a bit worried about the 1 inch sensor but I've seen a lot of great photos online. Also, there are some excellent cameras with a 1-inch sensor alongside the J5. So I didn't think about it and I won't. Pros: I like the size and style. (Style is worth something.) Colors are accurate and just a little punchy, really nice I think. The menu and operation of the camera are easy to understand. It has fast focus and exposure. It's very light but doesn't look like it's going to break. The colors are great. It's fast, I had trouble with focus and exposure. This will be a great snapshot photo where your subject is more or less in the same horizontal plane - a group of your friends, a landscape, a photo in a museum... A whale lens can be very sharp in such situations. When I first started choosing depth of field or moving subjects (well, cats in my case), I couldn't always rely on focus. As for exposure, the downsides for me were quite a bit of softness and noise. It's hard to predict when you'll soften. is probably in the eye of the beholder. I am a very picky photographer and wanted this to be my travel kit. Maybe I just need to get a bigger camera. However, it may be right for you, especially if you've only been using your phone or an inefficient point-and-shoot. You will be impressed by the speed and features. Interchangeable lenses are a big step forward. I would only suggest reading enough online forums and reviews so you really understand how the camera works. Check out the many photos on Flickr to see what it's capable of. Then you'll know if it's for you.
