This may not be a high end DAC player like my expensive audio equipment or even my Quad-DAC LG phones, but it is an adorable little device that is more than capable of playing some high quality tunes on a budget. I have a 7 year old daughter who always wants to use my phone for music, so I figured this would be a good little player for her. It doesn't disappoint, we didn't even need to add a storage card since the internal 8GB is enough to load up plenty of songs from our library of mp3s.I was actually hoping I could throw a couple of short videos on there for her too since it claims to also play that, however I have not been able to get that to work. It seems to only support AVI files, and I tried many different codecs and none are playable. The instructions are a joke, I wish it came with a demo file or something so I could at least inspect and see what codecs work. But otherwise, everything about this is pretty straight forward- connect via USB, drag and drop, use touch screen. Aside from the video, it really does just work as expected. I actually really like that it comes with a cool little watch band so she can wear it like a smartwatch and play music off it. I'm really pleased with the value of it.
