This little stand is great! It's a lot heavier than expected which is great because the big problem with the original charger is that it keeps falling off my bedside table (too easily) and it also charges very quickly. It tends to be warm to the touch, but in most cases this isn't a big problem. When connected without a clock, a tiny red LED lights up on the front panel. When you turn on the watch to charge, this indicator will turn blue, and when fully charged, it will turn green. Super useful for showing whether it's charged or not, but it's really only noticeable at night. Still a HUGE improvement/upgrade over the original charger. The length of the cord isn't much longer than the original, but it's good if you have an extension cord for connecting to the floor - about 3 feet or so. The good thing is that any micro USB to USB connector will do, meaning you can potentially extend the cable up to 10 feet. All in all, this charger is a great solution to several issues with the original that came with my watch. It has lasted about 3 months with no signs of problems or wear. This is a really handy and practical product.
