In fact I don't use these heel patches anymore (anymore), although they worked great when I had to close a blister. I use it for blemishes on my face. I cleanse my skin in the evening, pat dry and then apply one to the developing/problem area. Moisten the skin around the patch, go to bed, and go to bed with the patch in place. When I wake up, the patch soaks up the contents of the pimple 9/10 times, leaving my skin flat (albeit a bit dry). My skin liked it. I no longer have to pop my pimples, which greatly speeds up the healing process and reduces the risk of bacteria getting into the area. Just don't put the acne cream under a band-aid before you apply it - you'll irritate the skin like hell. (My skin is anything but "sensitive" and I made that mistake. The results were like a chemical burn.)
