Adhesive needs some work

I find that this version of the Hydro Seal (made specifically for the heel) doesn't stick to the skin as well as the other versions, but it's good in a pinch.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Disappointing Best in First Aid

Followed directions, thoroughly cleaned and dried the area I was going to apply. They fell off both ankles before an hour had passed just walking around the house barefoot (no socks or shoes were chafing or even tightening). Very disappointed and expected a lot from a Band Aid product.

The secret to an AMAZING hack that will save you hundreds

Best product ever Get rid of him. It will be removed by a professional. Ouch. This little patch is like a surgeon: saved $275-$400 in hospital bills and pain, and 6 hours in the ER, all in one patch. TRUST the IEA! Put one on and leave it on until you see a white bag shaped like a rubber band. If you remove them, your cellulite will become visible and heal on its own. amazed at my secret little discovery.

More Than Just for Blisters

We bought this product to keep in our small first aid kit in our RV and in our backpacks when hiking. Last weekend I cut my fingertip with a knife in our van. I immediately removed the water seal and applied it to my fingertip, which was bleeding constantly. I made sure I had a good, tight seal and it worked better than any patch I've ever used. I had to leave it on my finger for two days to make sure my skin sealed a little and didn't bleed, but that was from the cut, not the bandage. I'm…

As a surgeon, this is my personal choice

After 20 years as a surgeon, I prefer hydrocolloid dressings. Each dressing lasts several days and provides a moist environment for wound healing. Protects developing granulation tissue and promotes rapid re-epithelialization of the wound. This product is available in a variety of sizes and shapes to meet your specific needs. I used this to cover a freshly shaved biopsy instead of "applying petroleum jelly and a dry bandage twice a day" as directed by the dermatologist. Stayed in the shower…

Expensive but worth it.

I used them in the horrific spectacle of removing skin cancer that the 'ignorant' Mohs surgeon told me to leave open to 'cure naturally', which is a ridiculous one Rat, who clearly showed that he never had to deal with deep wounds on the skull in "real life". A clear stream of blood gelatin flows from them, which when lying down gets into the eyes and hair and finally makes life unbearable for the patient. It covers the wound, keeps it dry and doesn't need ointment etc. It's like a miracle…

It worked phenomenally! No more fear of corns!

I saw these bubbles in a must have for travel Buzzfeed article. We were visiting family in Europe and I knew there would be many walks. After my heel cracked after a 10 minute walk in fancy shoes for a special evening, I placed one of these on a blister pack and followed the directions on the box, which said not to touch it until it started falling off. It was a small but painful blister and after putting one of these pads on I completely forgot about it until after 3 days it started falling…

  • Questionable purchase for seniors

My shoe made a hole in the pavement!

They were useless. When I travel, I always have problems with calluses on my heels because I walk for hours (sometimes 13 hours a day) and therefore need reliable aids. It wasn't even 13 hours before they started wearing out and falling apart. After a short time my shoes chafed through! He made a hole in the bandage and kept scratching my skin! It was on my right foot; on my left, he just got off clean. It only worked (and only for the pillow) after I put a Nexcare waterproof bandage on it. I…

Not just for bubbles!

In fact I don't use these heel patches anymore (anymore), although they worked great when I had to close a blister. I use it for blemishes on my face. I cleanse my skin in the evening, pat dry and then apply one to the developing/problem area. Moisten the skin around the patch, go to bed, and go to bed with the patch in place. When I wake up, the patch soaks up the contents of the pimple 9/10 times, leaving my skin flat (albeit a bit dry). My skin liked it. I no longer have to pop my pimples…
