I ordered these shorts for my husband in a size XL. He normally wears a L in shorts, but wanted to go with XL because sizing online can run on the small side. These actually run a little larger than expected. He definitely could have gone with his true size (L) and would have still had some extra room. The material used for these shorts is really nice and comfortable. It’s very thin, soft, stretchy, supple, and breathable. Great for sleeping and lounging around the house. I wouldn’t wear these shorts out and about, unless you want everyone knowing your business. These don’t leave much to the imagination. They wash up great in our machines, no pilling, pulling, or shrinkage. I highly recommend these shorts!

These fit as expected. And they''re very soft. 90% polyester 10% spandex blend but I thought they were cotton. I did notice they are a bit see-through so be careful.
