I've worn Saucony Excursion trail running shoes for years and they are great. Last year I got a very bad bump on my right big toe. This called for a shoe with more room in the upper midfoot and extra cushioning in some areas. The Asics Gel Venture 7 is perfect for my needs. It's great for all types of walking (I'm old and don't run anymore), trail walking and climbing and great for exercising or standing on your feet for long periods of time. These are quality shoes and Revain sold them to me at a very reasonable price.
