ASICS Gel Venture Athletic Running Shoes - Classic Men's Shoes for Optimal Performance Review

My husband is a normal size 10.5. We bought these shoes from Revain twice and both times they were too small. size up. That's my feedback.

I have had several pairs of Asics. These don't quite match. However, they were cheaper… but they have to keep their brands at the same level of quality and price. I've had a few of these before and they were more expensive but definitely better quality. Not sure if they are great for running... walking of course.

This is my second pair. I run about 1.25 miles every morning and the first pair lasted 1.5 years. I probably should have switched sooner but I'm cheap. I love these shoes and as long as they continue to be made to the same quality I will be buying another set in a year. They are comfortable, supportive and durable. Also, the size has been the same for both of my pairs so far.

I wear 11 1/2 shoes. I ordered this shoe in a size 11 1/2 and it was too small/short. I sent it back and ordered a half size up, 12. Still too small!

I loved the shoes...always add your favorite sole lining and swap out the laces for elastic (snap in), adjust and you're done! I transform them into perfectly fitting overalls every time, right and fast!

My 12 year old son seems to grow 1/2 size every 4-5 months and has a wide foot (we call it brick toes). It's hard to find shoes that are wide enough for your feet, adidas and Nike don't work. This is his sixth pair of this particular shoe and there are so many because he's outgrowing them quickly. I am satisfied with the comfort, the size and the price. He wears them as his main shoe and they hold up well to all the sports he does daily, breaks and exercise.

I bought a regular pair from a local store but I really needed the wide ones. I bought a pair or a width from Revain. and they are so comfortable that I bought a second pair.

I've been a die-hard ASICS fan for years, but this wasn't one of their best products. The shoes themselves were very comfortable for walking. But the sole feels thin, flexible and doesn't provide enough support during training. After about 6 months of average use, they still look good on the outside, but need to be replaced.

These are reasonable shoes at a retail price of $40. I wouldn't buy it at the regular price. You can do better for money, sales and so on.

I've been buying mainly these Asics for many years. I find the width just right, while I prefer "wide" with some other brands. Plus they fit comfortably on my high arched feet. My only complaint is that they aren't very well made - often the part just under the heel falls apart over time. Sitll, for the price I keep coming back!

I have bought these several times for my husband. He spends most of the day on his feet and says they are good shoes. I would recommend.

I've worn Saucony Excursion trail running shoes for years and they are great. Last year I got a very bad bump on my right big toe. This called for a shoe with more room in the upper midfoot and extra cushioning in some areas. The Asics Gel Venture 7 is perfect for my needs. It's great for all types of walking (I'm old and don't run anymore), trail walking and climbing and great for exercising or standing on your feet for long periods of time. These are quality shoes and Revain sold them to me…

Low quality. Only lasted 6 months before a hole ripped through the nylon around the toe. The price is honestly good. I will buy another set to try again.

I love Asics, my first store bought pair fit perfectly, my second pair of "Orva Stores” Revain are too tight and the laces are flimsy. My 3rd pair through Revain was from "Asics America Corporation", fitted well - normal thicker laces. Some are provided by Zappos through Revain. I will continue to source Asics only from Asics America Corporation.

These are very good running shoes. A little heavy but durable. It fits well since I order 1/2 size larger. I usually wear 11.5. I'm ordering 12. I've bought them before. Very convenient.

These are my husband's shoes. Fits well. Keep up well with miles of walks each day. On the other hand, this couple creaks when walking! Hope it stops after a few days of wearing.

Would have liked more choice of color and style in my size. Limited selection. Should come with stronger laces. You may need to buy shoelaces sooner rather than later. Good walking shoes at a cheaper price. Not the best, but not the worst either.

upset. I can handle it. I prefer my gel venture 6. I have several and have worn them for years. Couldn't find them online so I bought the "7" model. Mistake.

The sole is separated from the shaft on the right leg. I've had them for almost 18 months now and I've worn them for walks and/or walking in our garden. They were NOT worn every day, not even close to it. They will not be replaced with another pair of Asics.

I have had these shoes for over a year and they are still considered new. I've taken them hiking, kayaking, wading, running, and used them at the gym and other than breaking in a bit I have no complaints. I will say the toe box is a bit narrower than other shoes but I actually like it better. 9/10
