All I need for a popsocket is a place where it's securely attached, yet easy to remove.

My old pop socket needed a place to stick but easy to remove. Easy. Nobody seemed to do anything. I even looked at Magsafe stickers that you can buy hoping I could make my own disc out of plastic or something. Then I came across this one. Even better, it's METAL. It's enough for security, but it's easy to remove to charge Magsafe on my iPhone 12 Mini. Perfect.
