The PowerShot SX30 IS's predecessor has horrible image quality outdoors due to intense iridescent delaminations at the corners. Such issues are not present in this model. Got advantages: high-quality daylight outdoor photographs. Well, a great stabilizer, zoom, video, etc., in the best PowerShot traditions. Naturally, there are also 120 and 240 frame-per-second settings. With drawbacks: zooming with a noisy lens (became especially noisy after a few days of use). PowerShot SX30 IS was previously used; it was much quieter there.
