This product is awesome! I've tried many products including vinegar, bartender's girlfriend, baking soda, and harsh chemicals to get rid of hard water stains from the shower. I've even read that once the glass is etched the only way to remove it is to hire someone to polish it! While I found a product that prevents etching from hard water in my new shower, we inherited a poorly etched shower when we had to move. After a lot of elbow grease, we decided to just deal with the dirty shower until we saved up enough to redo the bathroom. Insert the Pumie cleaning stick. All of my toilet rings were gone within minutes. I thought, would I dare take a risk in the shower? Yes! You can see how disgusting my shower glass was. In a photo I show how I rubbed the center of the etched area with a Pumie Scouring Stick. I walked in circular motions maybe 30-40 times. Voila, a clear circle is visible in the center of the haze. You can also see on the shower door how much clearer and cleaner the glass has become. Having also cleaned part of the side wall I can now clearly see the tiles through the 2 layers of glass in the shower. I will say that I think I started too vigorously with glass. I would say that moderate pressure and more intense rubbing is more effective than very hard rubbing as I think I scratched the glass a bit on the first few spots I cleaned. Also, it will take me a long time to shower. It really works, but I had to cross some areas multiple times to completely clear the area. However, I love this product and I don't know how I used to brush without it! We live off a septic tank and a well, and our showerheads are clogged. Cleaned up soon! fan for life!
