The weight of the material is almost perfect. Not too thin to be fragile, but not too thick to be heavy. Elastic seems durable. This is a Shock Cord type elastic rubber band with a cord lock to tighten it. Pretty easy to replace if needed. good size I have a 65 liter backpack and there is a lot of free space. Unfortunately, its nylon is not quite as quiet as soft fabrics. It's not noisy like a garbage bag or tarp. We checked the seal under the faucet, it passed. Personally I think it's a good value. I would really like to give it 5 stars but the stitching on the flap around the elastic is just single. The manufacturer has had to switch to double stitching for added strength. It won't cost you much. If that single row of stitching tears, the entire flap will tear and the elastic will no longer hold. I'll probably take it to a sewing shop and pay them a few bucks to add some extra now instead of waiting for a rejection.
