Very modern design; The tide will fill the entire dining room with white light. 5 stars for the lamp itself. Now here's what to look out for: Packaging: Mine came in a regular box with no branding or anything like that. Doesn't look like a $140 product. I put 3 stars. Structure: 5 stars here. That's a nice project. This light has 8 individual LED loops. You need to disconnect the cable, screw the LED loops into position and reconnect the cable. Otherwise you will get into a topology conundrum. A wired connection is easier than you think. The top four circuits use two drivers and the bottom four circuits use a third driver. Just connect them together in series. Don't worry about polarity errors, the connectors won't allow that. Installation: 1 star, very painful. The screw holes on the base plate are fixed, the slots on the metal crossbar do not need to be used. The screws are free to slide on the bar and there is an infinite amount of error. Imagine pushing a square socket against drywall, only to find that the metal cross's screws don't line up with the holes because you inserted a screw a few millimeters to the left. Also, the included screws have a tapered V-head that doesn't fit well on the crossbar. This is a big disappointment.
