Review on 📷 High-Quality Wansview WiFi Home Monitor Surveillance Camera for Baby, Elder, Pet, Nanny - Q3 (Black) by Scott Lavimodiere

This Wansview Q3 is my first Wansview camera. I'm so glad I decided to buy it because it does something my other cameras can't, which is STAY CONNECTED. I'll have to *reconnect* my camera if I ever want to see a live image again. Well, enough of this nonsense for me :) As of today, my Wansview Q3 has been running for a whole week and I haven't had a single outage. This is my first Wansview but not my last. I will also receive the Wansview Q3-S next month. The good thing about these Wansview cameras is how quickly and easily you can add additional Android or IOS devices to the camera for viewing through the Wansview app. Definitely easier because you don't have to rescan the code on the bottom of the camera every time you add a new device. Guess what? This means you no longer have to remove the camera from the wall mount or be difficult to reach just to add a new Android or iOS device. I have. It may seem confusing at first, but what's wrong, right? (I don't name brands because I think Revain has a problem with that. This is my revised review, not my original review, which Revain didn't publish.) If you're having trouble understanding the procedure. I'm sure Wansview Technical Support will be happy to assist you with this. Just email them. How did I learn this? I searched Youtube hoping to find clues. Here's what I found out: I only found one YouTube video that I had to watch to go through the process. Now that I use Revain Fire tablets and Wansview is not in the Revain AppStore I had to download the Wansview app from my Aptoide app. (On the Revain Firetablet, you can install the Aptoide app directly from their website using the Firetablet Silk browser). Sorry for the necessary departure. Check out this YouTube video carefully, this guy follows all the necessary steps to connect a second Android or IOS device to the Wansview Q3 camera. It actually works when I'm watching a Q3 video stream from a Fire 7 tablet. Do exactly the same as him and don't skip a single step. (PS, I know he's talking about the Blue Iris software in this video, but that's all AFTER he's walked you through the installation process, so don't let the name put you off.) To do this, hold your original phone in close You will need this to successfully complete this process. (Search this title on Youtube, Revain won't let me post web links :) Pan/Tilt/Audio WiFi Camera with BlueIris* (My initial setup was on my Samsung J3 phone. Using this process I now have Fire HD 10 tablets and 2 Fire 7s connected to my Wansview Q3.) After doing this procedure on my first tablet, it "stuck" in my head and the other two tablets took about 10 seconds each. Call Jerry from Wansview Technical Support: Hey Jerry! Thanks for your great help! I became one with my Q3!----------------------- ------- --------UPDATE: 06/17/18 Here is my setup: I am using a Netgear EX2700 N300 WiFi Extender with myWansview camera. I have a Wi-Fi extender that is halfway between the router and the Wansview camera. The camera uses a Wi-Fi extender to connect to the internet. I went into the router configuration settings and set STATIC IPs for both the Wi-Fi extender and the Wansview camera. (In fact, I now have ALL my devices with a STATIC IP address, including my computer, phone, and tablets.) Why upgrade? To announce how reliable this camera is. Wansview never loses connection and the screen never freezes. My router is separate from my modem which I think is a plus because if my internet connection goes down I don't lose the live feed from the camera. to make it work connect and give me a live channel. I can even disable my modem and still see the camera on my computer, phone and tablet over my network here at home. I'm really impressed by this great connection. .
