I bought the product on the recommendation of a neighbor when we thought our 15 year old septic tank was clogged and overflowing. That was the first time we had a problem. Zep had no effect on this issue and when we asked our septic provider to fix the issue they informed us that Zep was worthless at best and could be harmful. He found the problem (a leak in the line next to the tank) and fixed it. He also told us that our system was working fine and didn't need what Zep promised.
