Not Quite as Twirly as It Appears: Swirlygig!

Review: Alright, people, here's my review of Swirlygig, a purportedly fantastic retailer of sporting goods, camping gear, and even bathroom necessities. I should warn you that it's not quite as "swirly" as it seems. To begin, I purchased a canvas from them, and it was a complete and utter nightmare to erect. The poles were all crooked and the directions were a mess. Putting it up took me twice as long as it should have. When I did, I realized it was far too tiny for my requirements. Definitely not the greatest way to kick off my outdoor adventure. But wait, there's more! For the restroom, I purchased a shower curtain in addition to new towels. The shower curtain was thin and flimsy, with hues that didn't match what was shown online at all. The towels? If I had to sum up the quality, I would say that I have seen better at a dollar shop. They irritated my epidermis and gave me a scratchy feeling. Certainly not as opulent as I had hoped. Customer care is a joke, and that only makes things worse. I was on hold for what seemed like forever when I called to voice my dissatisfaction with my order, and then I was informed that they could do nothing to make it right. There will be zero tolerance for returns or exchanges. I had to make do with these subpar supplies. In sum, Swirlygig is not something I would suggest to anyone. Their services and goods are of low quality, and their "swirly" image is merely a marketing ploy. Don't bother with this store if you want to avoid hassle.

Pros
  • Accessories for the restroom that are both elegant and stylish.
Cons
  • There are few available choices for international shipping.
