I've used these many times since punching holes in leather to make sewing holes so I can attach leather tags to fabric. They are packed in a small plastic bag with a lid. They have oil on them to prevent rust. So if you don't want this getting on you or your project, you need to wipe them clean first. The smell of the oil lingers on the skin, so I recommend wearing gloves. After cleaning, I used a knife sharpener on the edges of some of them to make them sharper so they cut through skin with less effort. The smallest were the ones that needed sharpening the most. Be careful not to overdo it with the sharpness, you don't want to smooth out the circle. A star was deducted because I had to sharpen a few.
