I've used several of these to connect the filter, flow meter, hot water faucet and cold side of the sink. An advantage of this type of connection is that the connections do not have to be glued if a seal is used on the female end. Pros: Quality material and construction Gaskets Time-saving compression fittings Cons: Small in size (but no smaller than other varieties), so manage.
