Review on Fisher Price Little People Neighbors Assistant by Mike Roe

I had one like this when I was a kid so out of nostalgia I bought this new version for my son. Obviously, whoever designed this toy has not tested or played with it. The elevator handle is tacky and clumsy. The green ramp is useless, I even asked my wife to pick it up and after trying for a while she asked me "Are you sure this thing fits?" This set does not intermix with the other Little Join people sets, making it terribly unstable. You cannot manipulate any of the items without a firm grip on the top as there is no support and it has a very narrow base considering how the toy's parts are meant to work. Cars do not spiral out of the toy. ramp but, as in most children's rooms, wedged into the floor on carpets. I will be returning this item and looking for an old one to clean. Damn.
