Review on BindMaster Grounded Single Adapter Indicator by Charlie Wilson

I am sorry to report that the power supply I ordered in March 2020 has already failed. I was shocked because the first unit I ordered lasted 1.5 years. I gave this old unit a 5 star rating and a rave review. I must now downgrade my star rating and adjust my comments to reflect the premature failure of this second device. My first observation after getting a newer replacement AC adapter (to replace the 1.5 year old unit I had) was that the COLOR switch/toggle switch (on/off) was a DIFFERENT COLOR than the original would have. The newer model had an ORANGE toggle/rocker switch instead of the RED toggle/rocker switch used on the older model. I don't know if the different color of the new toggle switch means that the components inside the device have changed somehow, but this new model device failed within 90 days. Don't you know it failed right after closing the refund window? :(So I'm really disappointed. I think that companies like BindMaster might try to use cheaper components in subsequent models to keep the prices down. If that's the case in this situation (orange switch change; possibly other internal components) , then I'm not happy I would happily pay a few bucks more to get the quality of the original unit I bought over 1.5 years ago the rest. I've had my first one for over 1.5 years to control used the microwave.Our family has probably burned out flipping the switch about 50 times a day since June 2018, just won't turn on/off anymore.So I didn't hesitate to order the second instead of the first.You can buy cheaper but You get what you pay for.
