This stand hits the spot, it's matte black and fits my Microsoft Surface laptop and LG monitor, requires no turning of screws or unlocking of joints to adjust height or angle , and is very durable . I mainly use the stand to elevate my laptop so the built-in webcam is at eye level and I can work in a more ergonomic position. I have a wireless keyboard and rarely use my laptop keyboard while it's on the stand, although it's pretty solid and I don't see this as a problem for those who use it.
