I wanted to use this for a three monitor setup, my laptop only has one HDMI port. It worked fine at first, but by default my second display connected to my laptop's HDMI port is mirrored. I tried expanding the display, then the problems started. Both my laptop and monitor started interfering and switching between display settings. If I were you, and I mean every ounce of my disappointed soul, I would never buy this.
