**Exact** Prius Key Case Replica

I'm an Electrical Engineer and I make plastic cases for electronic devices on a daily basis. I take my hat off to the people who created this article. This is an **exact** replica of a Toyota Gen II Prius Key Shell. They even cloned the beautiful graphics for inserting the batteries into the internals. I would give this product ten stars if I could. The only downside is that it doesn't come with assembly instructions so you're on your own. I would offer these fitting comments to others who buy it: 1. It reuses your existing Toyota key board and rubber o-ring around the battery. It also reuses the RFID chip hidden in one end of the Toyota case.2. The body of the Toyota is glued, but can be easily dismantled with needle-nosed pliers as a spacer tool. Instead of squeezing the plier handles as in normal use, spread the plier handles with your fingers to spread the plier tips. Insert the tips of the pliers into the notches in the body of the Toyota.3. The RFID chip is a black 5-sided M&M piece. It is located inside the Toyota body, hidden in a niche on one side. Pry it out of the adhesive with a small screwdriver. Put some glue on it when you transfer it to a new case.4. The new sleeve snaps into place, but not securely enough to stay closed while rolling around in a jean pocket. I glued my new case with superglue.5. Do not reuse Toyota screws on the battery door. Use the ones that came with the new case. They have slightly different themes. If the Toyota keychain supplier is after these guys with lawyers, I'll contribute to the Go Fund Me campaign to protect them. The cost of replacing a Toyota key fob is outrageous. And the quality of this copy is excellent.
