Ease of use with code readers and scanners

The product is easy to use but the reason I bought it is because it has a USB port which I thought would be useful for updating the Software security could be used. I had a scanner many years ago but had no way of updating the software so it would no longer scan for cars made after 2008. I hope the manufacturer has a website to update the software.
