I bought 3 different colors to match my new cargo shorts which came with canvas straps with D buckles. The problem was that I don't like D-rings. The good thing is that I like the snap buckles that come with new belts because they work better for me than similar buckles or D-rings. The function is easy to use, easily tensioning the strap, adjusting it for the right fit and simply removing it when needed. The advantage is that I can cut D-rings off other harnesses and just clip on the flip buckle. The downside is that these aren't the highest quality belts, but overall for the price it was a good deal.
