I didn't pay attention to the width when ordering the belt. It's barely narrow enough to slip through the loops of your jeans. I can't deduct any stars for my mistake. The buckle engages with a distinct click and stays closed until I change my mind. When this wears out. I have the same brand but will look for something a size smaller. I have a 38-40 waist and have about 6 inches left so if your waist is larger measure carefully.

Need a cheap belt for a pair of shorts. This belt looked pretty good online and was pretty damn cheap. Overall the belt works well and I was able to trim it easily. The piece of metal at the end was easy to remove and reattach, but it doesn't push as hard as it did before it was removed. I think that's to be expected with a belt this cheap and honestly, you don't see it from the outside. I don't expect this strap to last forever but it will be great for casual golfing.

I had to send this back because the buckle didn't work. The clip on the back that holds the buckle to the belt came loose and fell off every time I tried to undo the front buckle to put the belt through. Based on other reviews, I may have just received a defective item, but considering how long Revain's return process takes (it's been 10 days since I put it in my locker and still haven't processed it), I won't try to order another one from this brand.

This is a very good belt - the canvas strap is thick and durable and the color is very close to the pictures shown. The length is right too - I ordered 3 of these straps (one with a shiny buckle and two with black buckles) and they are all 50 inches long or slightly longer. Originally 2 stars, later upgraded. Both the webbing and buckle were lighter than expected, a bit brittle but not enough to send back. I love this belt. I've spent TOO MUCH TIME researching belts on the Revain website and reading over a hundred reviews. Seriously, it was kind of an obsession for a while. I tried replacing this belt that I liked but couldn't find the exact same style and buckle mechanism in the same belt. I finally settled on this as my closest second place and best value for the price. I'm glad I did. Despite being so cheap, it looks sleek, works great and is well made.

This is exactly what I wanted. Great material and workmanship. There was more than enough fabric for me to adjust my own length. I can thread the extra length under the belt or I can cut it to length (the end should melt when you cut it). In general, just a great, simple belt.
