This is a very good belt - the canvas strap is thick and durable and the color is very close to the pictures shown. The length is right too - I ordered 3 of these straps (one with a shiny buckle and two with black buckles) and they are all 50 inches long or slightly longer. I wear jeans with a 32" or 33" waist, so I ended up trimming about 10" of the strap to get a snug fit without the strap sticking out too much from the buckle after tightening to to get a better fit.The inside edges of the buckle (both glossy and black) are slightly serrated and slightly sharp.It's not sharp enough to cut but very noticeable when putting on a belt.I solved this problem using a small piece of sandpaper with 220 grit and carefully sanded down the uneven edges and took just a minute to repair.
