Review on πŸ”Š Marine Certified PowerBass XL-1000 Amplified Power Sports Bluetooth Soundbar with Clamps and Remote by Brad Davis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bigger than I expected

First the box was MUCH bigger and heavier than I expected. Judging by the photos on Revain and other sites the bar looks flimsy. When I finally took the soundbar out of the box I was surprised at how big and heavy it was. Then I saw the wiring harness, I was very impressed - nobody saved on wiring! What I call "the cable" is also beefy and seems to hold up to some off-road riding. The bar sounded a bit tinny after installing it in my one car garage, but from the outside it sounds nice and great! Don't expect it to have a lot of bass, but it has a lot of sound. More than enough to clearly hear my topless CJ5 V8 Jeep with the manifolds on the freeway. I could spend an hour setting up the bar, and that includes the time I spent deciding where the cable would run through the Jeep and thinking about the angle I wanted it to hang from the roll cage. I first saw this wheel on the 4WheelParts website for the same price - no remote and clamps. This setup is exactly what you need as it comes with everything you want for the same price as most tile only retailers. I called about clamps. They didn't just slide into the grooves, and I wasn't sure if there was any suggestion to put them in there. Tired of not getting a call back, I used a soft mallet and very gently and lightly hammered them into place.
