Drops lint even after sticking

I bought these rollers because they are used for the Application of stones were recommended Follow recommended procedure for removing lint with tape Despite the preparation, the final finish had a lot of lint A different color might have been fine but we made our counters with a matte black finish and the lint was removed were very noticeable.I really liked Stone Coat but if I make another counter I will use a foam roller instead of a fiber roller.
