Wasn't difficult to assemble. The instructions didn't make it clear that the Allen keys had to turn in opposite directions at the same time to tighten the wheels. First full day on a scooter with my daughter and a rear wheel bolt hit her ankle. She left in tears and did not want to return. It wasn't crazy either that the front wheel spun so much to steer. Back for a scooter that has 2 wheels in the front and 1 wheel in the back.
