Edit: just below the track lists When I add MP3 files to a folder on the device as such: 01 track. mp302 track.mp303 track.mp304 track.mp3 It will appear and play in a random fashion as follows: Play your tracks IN THE ORDER YOU ADD THEM TO YOUR DEVICE. So you may have to add these 8 or so tracks to this folder one by one for this album. Second, maybe not. Maybe you have luck. I put my 20 sleep meditation tracks in at once - in this case all the tracks were correctly lined up in numbered order. So it's a good enough device, I increased my score from 3 to 4. Also, the sound quality is good and the ability to only repeat in one folder is what I wanted and it does it. I want the tracks to play in order, I don't have a shuffle option in the repeat options. What if I want to listen to the music album folder in the order? I have a meditation/subliminal hearing aid - which sometimes has to be out of order - but at night when I listen before bed I have a folder of tracks with ocean backgrounds and then I have a list of the rest of the silent tracks (subsonic) so i can sleep this is a list of files all numbered and should be ok. I may have to send it back. BTW I've tried all kinds of naming/numbering schemes* but note the change to my review above.
