I will admit I am new to the waterproof socks outside of some neoprene ones I had years ago for skiing. I really wish I had these 2 years ago when I went with my son's scout troop to Alaska to canoe down the Yukon for a week. That 150ish miles was a blast.I am really looking forward to using these this winter for skiing. I have not had any issues with them needing to be pulled up. As these are much higher on my lets then my ski boots fit, I should not have any issues with the boots rubbing against my skin.Standing in water you can feel the coolness (these do insulate you some) but you stay dry. I see from other interviews that eventually water will seep through. In the several weeks I have had these I have been very happy with them. So much so I have gotten a set of the SuMade ankle socks. These socks do provide some cushioning also, a plus for me. Now I just need to make sure my dog's don't get these else they will be destroyed & that would be a big bummer as I find these as keepers!
