I've always wondered if exfoliating foot masks work, so I was excited to try this mask. Here are my findings. I have followed all the instructions. I started by soaking my feet in warm water, then drying them off and putting on a mask (plastic wrap booties). I wore them with socks over them for two hours. I have not felt any discomfort or other negative consequences during this period. After two hours, I took off the booties and threw them away and rinsed my feet with water. The next day and every day throughout the process, I soaked my feet in warm water for 15-20 minutes. Nothing happened for the first four days. On the fifth day I noticed a slight peeling on my feet and on the sixth day between my toes. Everything went fast from there, and from 7 to 12 days my legs were peeling all over. By days 8-10, most of the old skin came off. Keep this schedule in mind if you plan on using this mask before an event as my feet looked very unattractive during the procedure and I had to wear socks to keep from getting flaky skin all over the house. As for the results, the entire top layer of skin came off both legs. My feet haven't been this soft since college, and that's almost 20 years ago. Now they are not only soft, but also look younger. The only place I want to see better results right away is the back of my heels, which were my biggest problem areas. My skin was the driest there, the thickest, and there were also small cracks. Although the top layer peeled off, there was thicker skin underneath that did not peel off after the treatment. My "after" photos show this area right after the peeling has gone. However, as this skin became much softer, this excess thickened skin was easily removed with a pumice stone and foot brush. I didn't add photos of my feet after the scrub as it wasn't part of the mask itself but my heels look great now and I've never been able to achieve this look before with just manual scrubs, creams or other home treatments. I am delighted with this foot mask and will continue to use it in the future.
