I am approaching a point in my life where it is becoming increasingly difficult to see things up close. I wear contacts and can see well at a distance, but up close it's a problem and I don't want to give up my contacts just yet (and I've heard that bifocals aren't very good). But driving or just being outside trying to read something up close caused problems. I had readers, but outside I need sunglasses. They offer the best of both worlds. Now I can read from my phone on the street or at traffic lights without squinting or switching to readers. And it's nice that in addition to a hard case, there is also a fabric bag for storing the second pair. The purchase is worthwhile.
