I hated this thing when we first used it. We had it on the floor. Should have put a towel on, the floor was so wet. There was an urge to throw it away or sell it, instead we tried harder and this time placed it at shelf height. Doesn't matter. now i love it No condensation anywhere. Works very quietly. We didn't throw away the Wix Pad that comes with the slot. Instead (I'm sure this will void the warranty, but who cares now 3 years later) we reuse them and add a few drops of fragrant homeopathic oils. Now I love this car. I just noticed that the price has gone down too.
