I bought these to wear as earrings as they are described as such. When they arrived I was surprised - crosses are too big for earrings but would fit better as a pendant. The crucifixes are beautiful and well defined, but no parishioner is allowed to wear such large crosses in school. They almost remind me of Madonna's "Like a Virgin" video, where she wore a huge crucifix as a piece of jewelry. However, all is not lost. I had several necklace rails and silver chains that were the right size for these crosses. I've made necklaces out of earrings, given them to the ladies I wanted to give earrings to, and I have some pretty earring wires to make something else out of.
