I'm surprised to hear that so many parents here are saying they're growing up. I had the opposite problem. My daughter is of average build. She is 4.5 and we are size 4-6 but it falls from her buttocks and there is extra length at the bottom. I'll keep them, but I'll save them for next year. Or I could try tucking in the waist so we wear it down more. Overall a good product, my daughter said they are so comfortable and warm.
