Lucky for my goblins

I don't have any cats. I have goblins in the form of cats. I have tried everything to keep them away from certain places in my home. Duct tape, aluminum foil, smelly spray, aerosol cans, compressed air, shouting from afar, nothing. I was confused and thinking I should just laminate my rugs to keep them from deteriorating when I discovered this product and decided to give it a try. I don't know if it's because cats can't see it that well, but they don't get close to this stuff. I lined the bottom of my doors with it and they stopped scratching. I used it to cover up the part of the rug they had torn apart and not only did they leave it alone, they taped the rug together. Duct tape everywhere can look a bit garish. But I'll think a little more about shelling out my bail every day. I had it on my window sill and on the edge of my freezer door and it took me a long time to peel it off in strips to remove it completely. Also, the stickiness may not deter all cats, but keeping the back white is actually much more effective at protecting furniture. Even if they scratch it, it will only pull at the paper side if they can get past it at all. If they could make this wood panel band the same color as my door frames that would be perfect.

Pros
  • Best-in-Niche
Cons
  • Mostly ok, but...
