Review on 🔧 Enhance Engine Performance with MSD 8680 Adjustable Timing Controller by Kenneth Barnes

I bought this for a large, high compression hemi that I had "hot starts" problems with. After installing the MDS 8680 Timing Controller I was able to pull the timing (10 degrees) at launch and return the lead as soon as the car started. After installing it and figuring out that I had to cut the white wire, I immediately noticed a difference in the car's starting behavior. In fact, it spun with the ease of a modern stocking and caught fire after just a few twists. Simply turn the knob back to its original position and you can lower the hammer. The reason I bought this unit instead of a start/delay time box was so that if I am not able to supply race gas I can pull the time out of the engine to fill a tank or so of 93 octane fill the driver's seat - and functionality exceeds my needs - but allows me to use it in case I later spill nitrous oxide on the car's engine. This is a great product and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a simple delay/feed device that offers the convenience of on-the-fly in-cockpit adjustments. David
